Shampooch in Dartmouth, MA has been a member of the Alltrust Credit Union community since 2006. Lisa Castanheira, owner, and groomer has been running her full-service dog grooming salon for over 15 years.
Lisa was a high school Mathematics teacher and created Shampooch as an enjoyable hobby to do after school and on the weekends. Her passion and special connection with dogs lead Shampooch to flourish, and although she loved working in education, she decided to leave teaching and pursue her dream career in grooming. 
As the business continued to grow, she hired additional groomers, and now a team of five wonder women, including Lisa have the joy of meeting new dogs and their humans, creating beautiful styles, and making dogs and their family smile!
Fortunately, the pandemic did not have a negative impact on the dog grooming industry. Many families took the opportunity to add puppies to their family during the pandemic. They have enjoyed all the new fluffy faces that have been walking through their doors.

Lisa explains, “We relish being groomers for the everyday family, encouraging pups to live their best lives, and grooming them to fit their lifestyles.”
Shampooch Dog Grooming Salon is open Monday through Friday, offering morning, afternoon, and evening appointments.
