Does your basic checking account pay you in the form of rewards? If the answer is no, then you should make a change. Here at Alltrust, we recently introduced three new, free, Kasasa® accounts and getting rewarded* for everyday banking is easier than ever. Alltrust now offers Kasasa Cash checking, Kasasa Cash Back checking, and Kasasa Saver. If you are unsure of which reward checking account best suits, here is a little guide to help you get started.
If you normally hold a higher balance in your checking account, you might benefit from Kasasa Cash. Kasasa Cash is a checking account that will offer a high dividend rate. For those who like to carry a little bit of a balance from month to month, you could be earning higher dividends with each statement cycle. This account gives you the benefits of a high yield savings account with the same privileges as a checking account.
If you are someone who uses their debit card as your main source of payment, you might benefit from Kasasa Cash Back. This account gives you a percentage of cash back on every debit card purchase. It works similarly to a cash back credit card except it comes out of your checking account, so you don’t have to worry about paying the card later. This account is great because you can earn a little of your money back on your purchases.
Whether you hold a high balance or swipe the debit card frequently, you benefit either way. Both free checking accounts come with the option of a Kasasa Saver which is a savings account that can build from your earnings from the checking account. In other words, the cash back you earn or the dividends from the high interest rate can sweep (transfer) into the Kasasa Saver automatically. A savings account that could get funded by itself. All these accounts are free! No monthly maintenance fee and no minimum balance to earn rewards. In addition, you can also get ATM fee refunds* when you use a foreign ATM.
All you have to do to qualify for the rewards, per monthly qualification cycle, is:
- Make 12 debit card purchases.
- Have one direct deposit or ACH automatic payment.
- Enroll and agree to e-statements.
