Maria Rebelo has joined Alltrust Credit Union (formerly Southern Mass Credit Union) as a Branch Manager.
Rebelo has over 25 years of experience in retail banking. Her most recent role was as Select Branch Office Manager at Santander Bank in New Bedford. She enjoys connecting with members on a deeper level and learning more about them. She believes that listening to members is extremely important because it allows her to prepare and help them to reach their hopes and dreams for the future.

Rebelo holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from UMass Dartmouth. She is also extremely active in the community through the Hearts & Heroes Alzheimer’s Association and the United Way of Greater New Bedford, where she was a board member for 8 years.
Born in Newark, NJ, she moved to New Bedford when she was 8. She still lives in New Bedford with her lifelong partner of 28 years, Bob Furtado. In her free time, she loves practicing yoga, and is working towards her certification in Reiki II. She also enjoys spending time with her family, being near the ocean, and visiting or watching anything related to American History.
