Alltrust Credit Union is pleased to announce that their President and CEO, Carmen F. Sylvester has been named one of the 2020 New England Women in Banking.
Sylvester joined Alltrust Credit Union in August 2017 and came to Alltrust Credit Union from Centreville Bank in West Warwick, RI. Her career in the financial services industry spans over 28 years.
The “New England Women in Banking Awards” recognizes the women making the greatest impact on their banks and credit unions; these are the women innovating and paving the way for the entire banking industry. Sylvester was nominated not only for the rapid growth of assets and lending originations, but also for instilling a culture of working together and the importance of realizing that the successes of the Credit Union are the successes of everyone at Alltrust Credit Union.
Sylvester earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Human Resources certification both from Bryant University and holds the designation of Professional Human Resources (PHR). She also studied at the at the University of Colorado Financial Management School and at Rockhurst University National Seminars.
